The two singles from the album were
Postcard
and a Remix of East Meets South

For this album KARMA COUNTY won 2 awards at the first ever MICA (Music Industr Critics Awards).
one for BEST INDEPENDENT RELEASE (NSW) and BEST DEBUT RELEASE for the year 1997.

This album was originally released in the US on a small independant label called Laughing Boy. This gave Brendan some copies of the CD enabling him to shop around for some interest in Australia. The only taker at the time was TWA records. They worked the album very hard and did a great job of exposing Karma County to all of Australia.

This is the track that started it all really. It must be said with out Richard Kingsmill from Triple J, who was the first ever DJ to play a Karma County track on radio, the band wouldn't be around today.

Long Distance Karma, still a live favourite, embodies the orinigal East meets South concept.

The other two tracks "Sparks and Embers" and "Bride" is Brendan and Guitar up close and personal. This single is rare and sought after... presently going for over $50 less than 5 years after the first release.

The first track on this single is a dance remix by Jeremy Allom. Some though it wasn't appropriate at the time, though as far as dance tracks go, you can dance to it...

"She Never Loved You" and "east Meets South", two live recordings done by Triple J for a "live at the wireless".

Another up close and personal track with 'Ol Brendo,... Subjunctive Mood which now appears on
Happy Birthday Dear Customer renamed Love Sublime.

The album version of the "East Meets South".
