A rollicking and rolling, funky ditty inspired
by Gary Gilmour who was on death row in the book "The
Executioners Song" written by Norman Mailer. His
mantra just before taking the last walk was....
"GOOD THINGS COME TO ME NOW!"
"I
Was Cold" also didn't make the final cut.. although
it is a very stong track. The song is about being forced
to sleep on the naughty couch when you misbehave, and
swallowing your pride enough to get back into your warm
cosey bed with the one you love. The recording features
everyones favourite stringsters, Lara Goodridge and Peter
Hollo from the FourPlay
Electric String Quartet.
"This
Tin Stardom" from the album. A spooky, haunting track
about moving on when things get "too square"....
featuring the great Chris Abrahams on piano
Too Many Foxes from Last
Stop Heavenly Heights. The Sherrif on the trail of
the Karma Countess. Funky and brooding. Nice low-fi production.
Recorded in Brendans' bedroom studio.
